Pico founder Andrea Panico is an industrial designer inspired by both the large scale of architecture and the small scale of jewelry. With past positions in architecture, interior design, product and textile design, Andrea brings a unique perspective to her work. While completing her Master's in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, she took several jewelry classes, where she developed a love and respect for traditional jewelry techniques. Her passion is joining the worlds of industrial design and jewelry, focusing on dualities of material, technique and method.
Andrea has been teaching in the Product Design department at Montclair State University since 2013, where she focuses on Design for Manufacturing, Sustainability, and Form Language. For more on Andrea's work, see her online portfolio.
Pico Design is known for minimal, modern jewelry that features unique connections and non traditional material pairings.
